First Trip to the dentist

We had our first dentist trip. Maddie was a little nervous in the waiting room. She has been stressed about losing her baby teeth and the new ones coming in. I think that Grey's teething has made her think it will hurt. She took a baby with her which is a new thing for us. I would have thought that a friendly tiger or dragon would have made the trip.
The dentist was very sweet to Maddie. All good in that mouth of hers. No cavities or problems.

First Bike Ride

We are so excited to have Maddie on a big girl bike. She did really well and is officially the helmet patrol. She did really well. Of course the training wheels are still on.
This is what happened when I said the ride was over. It was dark and cold but she wanted to ride on. Don't you just love these meltdowns?

Painting with Friends

Maddie and Brooke had a great time today. They each painted their own ceramic item. They are very cute together. Grey thinks he is all grown up and I think he wanted his own ceramic to paint. Notice his face. He was so dirty from being fed toddler cookies.
Brooke and her mom were very diligent about getting all of the white area painted on the frog.

Gym Time

We did a trial sibling class at the gym today. It was fun. Maddie enjoyed all the little activities. Grey in amazing me everyday. I don't think he will be easy to catch very soon.

More fun

We braved the cold and flu season and let Grey and Maddie play in the mall. Grey loved it and took off without a single look back. He is a brave and fearless boy.
Maddie had fun with daddy and they played in the tunnel for a long time.

Oh boy, Grey found the dogs water bowl and can often be found in the kitchen giving himself a bath.

Ice Skating with Daddy

Daddy and Maddie went ice skating today. Here they are putting on the skates. Maddie asked why they were so heavy? First time for both daddy and Maddie. It was slow going for a while.
This seemed to work a little better. Maddie was determined though. She wanted to try it all by herself.
A small breakdown.
She did it!!! She went on her own and even did a little circle and stayed on her feet.

Fun Night

Maddie had a friend over last night. They had so much fun and only a few battle scars :)
The girls made cookies and used up all the sprinkles in the house. How about some cookies with those sprinkles.
They found the dress up clothes and were princesses the rest of the night.
They danced around to music for at least an hour.

Return to Ice

Maddie and I went back to the Ice exhibit. It was fun to spend some one on one time with her.

Happy New Year

We had a very fun New Years party. It was mainly a kiddo party but still great fun. Here is Grey playing with his friend Max. The boys were so funny and pushed and pulled each other. I hope they will grow up to be great friends. The kids had an ice cream social. I let them pour their own chocolate and sprinkles. They had a great time and really didn't make a huge mess.
Sweet little guy took a turn on the roller coaster.
Our friend Jennifer couldn't get enough of Grey. She held him for a long time which was nice for Mommy!!!
