Life Group

We joined a life group from the church we have been going to. They are a really caring group. Today they had a family day at the park and it was a lot of fun. Joey got off early and we all had dinner there. I just think it is so important to spend time together. We don't get a lot of that and I know a lot of you guy's don't either. I think that taking a few hours a week to just be relaxed and together is so important.

Maddie threw bread to the fish. Daddy told her they were nibbling fish so she didn't try to go in the water:)

Green Tips

"The Dirty Dozen" I know that organic foods can be really expensive but here is a list of 12 items that carry the highest level of residue, pesticides and other dangerous contaminations. Apples, Cherries, Grapes (imported Chili), Nectarines, Peaches, Pears,Raspberries,Strawberries,Bell peppers,Celery ,Potatoes,Spinach. Even after washing these items still hold on to bad things. If you can buy organic for these items. If you can't at least buy a good vegetable wash and really follow the directions( leaving it on for several minutes)

I have been trying to change some simple things to make our family more "Green" I think we should all try to work at making our earth and our families a little more healthy. I am going to try to post simple household tips that I find in my own journey. I hope you will try some of them out.
