When mom is away!!!

One of the hardest things for me has been when I have to leave my children. I am so lucky to have a place for Grey that I really love. He is with Grandma Barbara. I got so lucky to find her and I leave him each day knowing that he is being loved. Here he is waiting at the door for me and standing next to his friend Evie. It is so cute to see him there when I drive up.

The girls like to lead him around.

Green Tips

"The Dirty Dozen" I know that organic foods can be really expensive but here is a list of 12 items that carry the highest level of residue, pesticides and other dangerous contaminations. Apples, Cherries, Grapes (imported Chili), Nectarines, Peaches, Pears,Raspberries,Strawberries,Bell peppers,Celery ,Potatoes,Spinach. Even after washing these items still hold on to bad things. If you can buy organic for these items. If you can't at least buy a good vegetable wash and really follow the directions( leaving it on for several minutes)

I have been trying to change some simple things to make our family more "Green" I think we should all try to work at making our earth and our families a little more healthy. I am going to try to post simple household tips that I find in my own journey. I hope you will try some of them out.
