We had a great time at this farm. The kids got to ride a horse and Grey thought it was so fun. He is such a gentle sweet boy. Maddie took several rides. I think she wanted to go faster. Anya really loves horses. She really lights up when she is around them.
"The Dirty Dozen" I know that organic foods can be really expensive but here is a list of 12 items that carry the highest level of residue, pesticides and other dangerous contaminations. Apples, Cherries, Grapes (imported Chili), Nectarines, Peaches, Pears,Raspberries,Strawberries,Bell peppers,Celery ,Potatoes,Spinach. Even after washing these items still hold on to bad things. If you can buy organic for these items. If you can't at least buy a good vegetable wash and really follow the directions( leaving it on for several minutes)

I have been trying to change some simple things to make our family more "Green" I think we should all try to work at making our earth and our families a little more healthy. I am going to try to post simple household tips that I find in my own journey. I hope you will try some of them out.
