Fun Thursday with friends

We had a great day. Maddie and Erin played so well. We went to sweet and Sassy a place in the mall and they let the little ones dance one the cat walk. They kept doing shows. So cute. Grey is liking being free to explore in germ filled places. He is such a sweet sweet boy.

Erin and Maddie were squishing poor Reese. They kept saying "my baby" They thought it was funny to make a Reese sandwich!
Erin and Maddie got their nails done. They were so excited. Girls are so much fun.

Little Reese was too young for a paint job but she had fun anyway. Such a free spirit!!!

Happy Memorial Day

We had a great day visiting at Grandma house. Ashlee and Maddie are really cute together and have a lot of fun. What a day to really remember those we lost and to cherish those we still have. Grandma is determined to get these girls swimming.

Summer fun

Maddie and I got some one on one time and headed to the water park. We miss having these times together. While it is an amazing gift to have Grey we love to sneak away and have fun. This is a little preview of the water park we are having Maddies party this year. Of course it will just be us so it won't be so crazy and filled with hundreds of people. She loves the water. I think she will be swimming very soon.
We layed under the clouds and told each other what we saw. Here she saw a face and it you look in the right side I can see a frowning face. How fun!!!

Snow cones

We have started a very bad habit. Maddie and her mom love these shaved ice treats. We sneak one every chance we get. Maddie is getting more bold with her choices. I stay with the same. Anyway I thought this was cute of her. Maddie is growing up so fast. I sometimes can't even believe I am about to have a 4 year old. How amazing is this life? I get so stressed with work and drama in my life I forget how important it is to just let the little things go and enjoy a snow cone with the one person who thinks I am the coolest!!!

Owens Farm

We had a great time this week at Owens farm. This little goat loved the kids and followed them around the whole time. It was fun to see the kids interact with the animals and of course it was HOT outside. I am not ready for summer.

Maddie and her friend looked in each and every stable. They were so cute. It is so fun to listen to 3 year olds talk.
Queen of the world!! Or should I say queen of my world!!!!

Dallas Zoo

We had a very busy week but still managed to go to the zoo. Eden thought is was great fun. Thanks for a great visit Vanessa, Cedric and Eden we had a super great time. Miss you already!!

Grey had his first Pony ride. He did pretty well Maddie and Cedric tried to touch the stingless sting rays. They acted like they were not scared but you should have seen when one got close.

Trip to Sea World

We had a great great trip to Sea World this month. We were so lucky to have our great friends visit from El Paso. I am very blessed to have such great friends. It was so so hot. The kids had fun and ok the moms did to! I love Shamu and that made the trip all worth it. When Maddie is a Shamu rider she promises to sneak me in for a short ride!! This is sweet Eden's debut on my blog. At 9 months she is a sweet sweet baby with Maddie's go get em attitude. Word to the Wize Vanessa "get ready" :)
Ok our two oldest ones were scared. The babies thought the birds were amazing.

Look at these kids. I have them married up but Vanessa won't have that kind of talk.
Ok where I am I suppose to sit. Our stroller for 2 was used as a 4some. Man it was hot.
Cedric and Maddie were all game to ride the roller coaster. They took a long time to start it and the kids went from excited to petrified. They loved it and rode 4 more times.

Feeding the ducks

We have a great duck pond right by our house. Maddie wore these puppy ears to church today. We are working on her confidence and while maybe not the most appropriate thing to wear I was shocked she wanted to. Most of the time she would get nervous about it in the car and take them off. So when she wanted to leave them on I just thought God made a very creative little girl he will understand. Afterwards we went to feed the ducks. There were tons of turtles in the water.
Grey had fun.

Saturday Bliss

Do you think that dad's wonder what moms and kids do all day. Well we are so lucky that Joey is now going to get most Saturday's off. I can't tell you how much this is going to help our family. We miss him so much and this will be great. Ok so by 8:00 am instead of sleeping in he is called out to play. Maddie dressed up all of them and had a great time with her new play toy.
