Feeding the ducks

We have a great duck pond right by our house. Maddie wore these puppy ears to church today. We are working on her confidence and while maybe not the most appropriate thing to wear I was shocked she wanted to. Most of the time she would get nervous about it in the car and take them off. So when she wanted to leave them on I just thought God made a very creative little girl he will understand. Afterwards we went to feed the ducks.

There were tons of turtles in the water.

Grey had fun.

He is really getting good at running or should I say crawling away

"The Dirty Dozen" I know that organic foods can be really expensive but here is a list of 12 items that carry the highest level of residue, pesticides and other dangerous contaminations. Apples, Cherries, Grapes (imported Chili), Nectarines, Peaches, Pears,Raspberries,Strawberries,Bell peppers,Celery ,Potatoes,Spinach. Even after washing these items still hold on to bad things. If you can buy organic for these items. If you can't at least buy a good vegetable wash and really follow the directions( leaving it on for several minutes)

I have been trying to change some simple things to make our family more "Green" I think we should all try to work at making our earth and our families a little more healthy. I am going to try to post simple household tips that I find in my own journey. I hope you will try some of them out.
