Summer fun

Maddie and I got some one on one time and headed to the water park. We miss having these times together. While it is an amazing gift to have Grey we love to sneak away and have fun. This is a little preview of the water park we are having Maddies party this year. Of course it will just be us so it won't be so crazy and filled with hundreds of people.

She loves the water. I think she will be swimming very soon.

We layed under the clouds and told each other what we saw. Here she saw a face and it you look in the right side I can see a frowning face. How fun!!!

Green Tips

"The Dirty Dozen" I know that organic foods can be really expensive but here is a list of 12 items that carry the highest level of residue, pesticides and other dangerous contaminations. Apples, Cherries, Grapes (imported Chili), Nectarines, Peaches, Pears,Raspberries,Strawberries,Bell peppers,Celery ,Potatoes,Spinach. Even after washing these items still hold on to bad things. If you can buy organic for these items. If you can't at least buy a good vegetable wash and really follow the directions( leaving it on for several minutes)

I have been trying to change some simple things to make our family more "Green" I think we should all try to work at making our earth and our families a little more healthy. I am going to try to post simple household tips that I find in my own journey. I hope you will try some of them out.
