Anders Family: Ballet Recital

Here is a picture of Maddie's ballet class. They looked so cute and did a great job.

We are always nervous about Maddie's anxiety but she did great and really seemed to have most of the routine down.

Sweet girls. They were happy to get flowers when the performance was over.

Daddy and Nana and Erin's mom surprised her with flowers.

I thought this picture looked cute. Maddie was obsessed with the mirror.

Green Tips

"The Dirty Dozen" I know that organic foods can be really expensive but here is a list of 12 items that carry the highest level of residue, pesticides and other dangerous contaminations. Apples, Cherries, Grapes (imported Chili), Nectarines, Peaches, Pears,Raspberries,Strawberries,Bell peppers,Celery ,Potatoes,Spinach. Even after washing these items still hold on to bad things. If you can buy organic for these items. If you can't at least buy a good vegetable wash and really follow the directions( leaving it on for several minutes)

I have been trying to change some simple things to make our family more "Green" I think we should all try to work at making our earth and our families a little more healthy. I am going to try to post simple household tips that I find in my own journey. I hope you will try some of them out.
