My Ballerina

Maddie and Erin joined a ballet class. They love it. Erin likes to play teacher and Maddie seems to follow along. They are so much fun right now to watch. It is amazing to see how fast Maddie is growing up. It is a little scary and exciting at the same time. She loves the class and is doing really well. She will get to be in a very big Nutcracker production in December and we are excited about that.

Green Tips

"The Dirty Dozen" I know that organic foods can be really expensive but here is a list of 12 items that carry the highest level of residue, pesticides and other dangerous contaminations. Apples, Cherries, Grapes (imported Chili), Nectarines, Peaches, Pears,Raspberries,Strawberries,Bell peppers,Celery ,Potatoes,Spinach. Even after washing these items still hold on to bad things. If you can buy organic for these items. If you can't at least buy a good vegetable wash and really follow the directions( leaving it on for several minutes)

I have been trying to change some simple things to make our family more "Green" I think we should all try to work at making our earth and our families a little more healthy. I am going to try to post simple household tips that I find in my own journey. I hope you will try some of them out.
